A video game that teaches children digital literacy skills, which I lead from concept and design through a playable prototype. It began as a final project in a privacy and surveillance course; now it's my job. Along the way I write the technical documentation, present to university leadership, and keep the whole thing compliant with COPPA.
As Lead Instructional Aide for Introduction to Information Studies, I taught weekly seminars on UX design, information systems, and AI to 200+ students, connecting technical systems to ethical and regulatory frameworks. At Ross, I built FTC case studies and taught supplemental content for the Law of Marketing.
Research on how computer science education handles algorithmic bias, built on qualitative interviews with software engineers about the gaps between technical practice and legal compliance. My findings were adopted by the CS department to develop new legal capstone courses.
Regulatory research and analysis on integrating generative AI features under GDPR and CCPA for a FAANG client, and Python work with an engineering team to scale 6M+ provider entries into the OneTrust API for a biotechnology client.
